Since the formation of the 501st Legion in 1997, we have had the opportunity to be part of numerous charity events, fundraisers, movie premieres, parades, promotional events, and conventions. As members we are committed to our community here in Scotland and proud to support the charities and charity events that support them by appearing in costume. The Imperial Scottish Garrison is the official garrison of the 501st Legion in Scotland. The 501st Legion is an international organisation and is widely recognised as the definitive Star Wars costuming club; with over 13,000 members, spanning 60+ countries who have dedicated over 25 years of creating and wearing movie accurate costumes of the Galactic Empire and villainous characters from the Star Wars Universe. If you have a calling to the Dark Side, you’ll feel right at home here!

There is nothing quite like a group of Star Wars characters to bring attention to any event. Our professionalism and high quality costumes will ensure your event will have both a wow factor and run smoothly. We look forward to suppressing any Rebel activities and protecting our communities.

CHARITABLE CAUSES
Our mission is to provide volunteer work to a number of charities and children’s hospitals here across Scotland. We are always looking for new opportunities to brighten the lives of those less fortunate than us and to bring awareness to these causes on a local and global scale.

OUR PASSION
We work to participate in the community for the benefit of the children, both big and small. Whether it is visiting local children’s hospitals, participating in benefits that support children, or just having fun at conventions, our desire is to bring the joy of the Star Wars universe we had growing up with, to the children of this generation.

While the 501st Legion was initially founded to unite costumers with a penchant for Star Wars villainy, one of our real-world missions is to bring good to our communities through volunteer charity work. The 501st Legion is always looking for opportunities to brighten the lives of the less fortunate and to bring awareness to positive causes on both a local and global scale.
